Mrs. Chavez has served the school for more than a decade. She began as a preschool teacher and then was asked by Father Greg to manage the school office and has held this position for five years. She truly loves being a part of our school and describes herself as being passionate about the importance of what our campus provides, by giving students a solid education with a strong christian foundation.
She's a native Texan who has lived in Bay City over 40 years. Her husband is Raymond Chavez and they have two children. They are Alexandra, who graduated with the HCCS 2014 sixth grade class, and Danielle, who is a graduate of the HCCS 2017 sixth grade class. Both girls are in the top 10% of their class She describes as important, her Catholic faith, spending time with family & friends and supporting our school.
In her own words: The Lord, life lessons and my children have inspired me to dedicate myself to the enrichment of young children’s learning. I love children and strive to give them a positive learning experience, Christian guidance and positive social interaction to help prepare them for their future life experiences.
